Penny Creek Studios

Penny Creek Studios, the sister studio to Stinson Recording Studios, is a co-op studio staffed by TRCoA graduates and was the original site of Stinson Recording Studios. Advanced Music Productions students will also complete some of their class projects out of Penny Creek Studios.

Control Room

The Control Room is centered around Digidesign's Pro Tools 8 and the popular RME converters. There are 18 channels of I/O, and up to 48 stereo playable tracks of 96khz/24bit audio. The studio utilizes a variety of the best mics, outboard preamps and compressors, and the best plug-ins created for Pro Tools.

Live Room / ISO Booths

Live Room The Live Room is 18' by 22' with a 15' ceiling. The combination of the hardwood floors and the high ceilings provides a rich, warm, expansive sound that is superior for tracking almost any instrument. There are two 6' by 7' Isolation Booths that extend from the Live Room. These rooms are used for multi-tracking and creating a tighter more focused sound than what is characteristic in the Live Room.

Back Deck & Trail

Fresh air on the back deck and the greenbelt trail behind the studio make the long long hours of working in the studio both bearable and fun.
