Who's In the Studio
Jasper den Hartigh with Oriana Raeo
Nick DeCarmine and Jen Kvistad
Nick DeCarmine, a Beginning Audio Engineering student, has been in the studio working with Folk rock-pop artist
Jen Kvistad.
Seth Gibson and Trace
Seth Gibson/Lamplifier Recordings
, an Advanced Music Production student, has been busy in the studio working with the Americana/Folk styling of
Trace.
With the mixture of direct influences starting at Neil Young, Elliott Smith, Jeff Mangum, Jeff Tweedy and the usual band of suspects,
the music has more of a character, weaving tall tales of clipper ships and locomotives with heartbreak and betrayal.
Trace's songs have a definite dwelling in the house of rock and roll, but not leaving behind the craftwork of songwriting.
Nick Luna
Nick Luna/Luna Sound Productions,
White Rhino. Playing salt-of-the-earth working man hard rock mixed with good ol’
early ’80s riff metal and Motorhead jackhammer rock, White Rhino's raw sound stands out among the deep pool of Red River bands.
