Who's In the Studio

Seth Gibson with FlatCar Rattlers

FlatCar Rattlers Seth Gibson, a Beginning Audio Engineering student, has been in the studio working with FlatCar Rattlers. The FlatCar Rattlers are the love baby of a wild hog that got stuck in a mud hole and a blind bootlegger that was lookin' for a good time. Each band member contains a super power that can only be used under hot lights and while under the influence. Best served lukewarm.
Listen (MP3) to River of Sin.

Sarah van Ballegooijen with Chris Brecht

Chris Brecht Alt-country songwriter Chris Brecht has been in the studio working with Sarah van Ballegooijen, a Beginning Audio Engineering student. There's nothing really restricting a songwriter like Brecht to the alt-country label. He digs more deeply into traditional roots and Americana, inspired by influences like Dylan but not imitating them.
Listen (MP3) to House of the Rising Sun.

Rusty Kotzur with Edison Chair

Edison Chair Rusty Kotzur, a TRCoA graduate, has been in the studio working with Edison Chair. This young Austin indie rock-pop band is one to watch. Check out the work Rusty and the guys from Edison Chair have produced. Edison Chair is Wes Armstrong: drums, keyboard, Martin Aker: bass, vocals, and Nathan Thrash: guitar, keyboard, vocals.
Listen (MP3) to Sound of a Picture.

Brandon Boyd / Ode to Oscillator

Ode to Oscillator Ode to Oscillator is a side project Brandon, a TRCoA Advanced Music Production student, has been working on. An electronic indie rock project, friends and family cycle in and out contributing fragments of sound.
