AMF Small Group Session Recap: Gina Fant-Saez and eSession.com
TRCoA hosted
Austin Music Foundation's Small Group Session with
Gina Fant-Saez. Gina's session covered two topics: Pro Tools for Musicians and
eSession.com
Using the Internet, eSession allows anyone to hire and work with top session players and Grammy-winning engineers without
leaving home or spending a fortune. The latest feature of eSession is a real-time plug-in called Virtual Glass that uses
the internet to record in real time between two studios anywhere in the world. This is a very cool company Gina has started, check it out.

Who's In the Studio
Matt Marolt with Sugarback
Matt Marolt, a Beginning Audio Engineering student, has been in the studio with
Sugarback.
A sound that's funky with traces of rock, blues, and jazz thrown in. Fans are never left disappointed as
the grooves go from old school to new progressive funk and beyond.
Sugarback is Mike Skiffington: drums, vox; Mark "Byrdawg" Dillon: keys, vox;
Art Martinez: sax and flute; J.T. Cox: guitar; and Joshua Mouton: bass, vox.
Brandon Boyd with The Artisans Insurection
Brandon Boyd, a Beginning Audio Engineering student, has been in the studio with
The Artisans Insurection. Multi-instrumentalist Adam Rios is the
driving force behind The Artisans Insurection. Influenced by bands like The Animals, Them and The Troggs, Of The Beast, with its
swirling organ-driven sound, pays tribute to the R&B-rock of the British Invasion.
Tanner Soetaert with Repent
Tanner Soetaert, an Advanced Music Production student, has been in the studio with
Repent. Playing brutal music for jesus christ and the god fearing youth of
America. Repent is Scott: bass; Sean: drums; Cody: 7 string; Seth: vox.
Michael Shea

Michael Shea, a Beginning Audio Engineering student, has been in the studio producing his own music.
