Austin Music Foundation Join the Austin Music Foundation in celebrating the diversity of Austin's music scene - they will be highlighting shows from jazz to industrial, singer/songwriter to metal, indie rock to funk. So come on out and see something new, or check out a club you haven't been to before!

Who's In the Studio

Travis Bonner

Co-owned by Travis and Joshua Saunders, another TRCoA alumni, The Diamond Factory is a cool new recording studio. With the studios' laid-back vibe, Travis and Joshua have been producing some great music and getting inspired performances out of the bands.
Be on the lookout for upcoming projects from Travis, including a 5 song EP from The Cabaret and a single from Murdocks

Erin Ivey with Bradley Calhoun

Erin Ivey Bradley Calhoun, a Beginning Audio Engineering student, is in the studio working with Erin Ivey. Erin Ivey's voice and her brand of "downtempo folk pop" are garnering national acclaim, with one journalist stating "I would kill for a purr like that."  Erin has been the voice of Apple Computer, her music used in Red Bull Energy Drink promotions, and she works with independent music producers nationwide.

Scott Harris and Caught Listening

Caught Listening TRCoA alumni Scott Harris, from BigBang Music is currently mixing new material from Caught Listening. Americana and Folk Rock defines the sound of Caught Listening. The band is comprised of Beth Rancher Strathman on lead guitar, Dale Rancher on bass and vox, Geoff Herring on guitar, and Andrew "Stycks" Morton on drums. With bands like Caught Listening, Scott continues to define his sound in the Americana genre. Check out all his work at BigBang Music. Also be on the look out for new material from Scott's next project, the Jessica Shepherd Band.

Joseph Radtke and The Armour

The Armour Joseph Radtke, an Advanced Music Production student, is in the studio working with The Armour. Made up of former members of Dynamite Boy, Near Miss, and Engraved, The Armour have a very unique style of melodic rock/hardcore with other rock oriented styles infused to make the sound "one of a kind". The band is Adrian Munoz - Vocals, Chris Baker - Guitar/Vocals, Dusty Kohn - Guitar/Vocals, and Myke Bingham - Bass.
