Update ProTools Seminar with John Stinson
The
ProTools Seminar held at TRCoA on Thursday January 25th was a great
success. John Stinson, TRCoA's founder, first demonstrated the new
features of ProTools 7.3.1 one by one. In the second segment, while
using the new 7.3.1 features, he demonstrated the differences between
tick-based editing and sample-based editing and how to create and
use REX files in ProTools. In the final segment he demonstrated
advanced drum production techniques using beat detective, sound
replacer, and other alternative drum editing and sound replacing
techniques. All in all it was a great turnout and an empowering
learning experience for everyone who attended.
